Built Not Broken was created from my real-life journey long before wrestling ever began.
Before stepping onto a mat, I fought through a childhood marked by poverty, homelessness, instability, and a system that often failed me. Through adoption, security, and years of hard work, I found not only a home, but a purpose. The adversity I’ve faced could have easily broken me. Instead, it built resilience, discipline, perseverance, and determination that now drive me both on and off the mat.
Wrestling is not simply a sport I joined it gave me an opportunity to break generational expectations and push myself to achieve goals that so many people said would never be possible. In this sport, no one can define you but yourself. You are defined by the work you put in, and your success or failure belongs to you alone. Every loss becomes a lesson and every setback becomes something to build from.
Built Not Broken represents more than wrestling apparel. It represents the mindset of continuing forward despite setbacks, refusing to be defined by circumstances, and using hardship as fuel for growth.
This is the mindset I bring to the sport and hope to pass on to others through Built Not Broken and the Rising Warriors clinics and mentorship opportunities.
